Adorable! I was expecting balack & white when I saw "pirate socks" but I love the blue and pink (red?). Whay yarn did you use? Looks stretchy.

Great socks! I just printed the pattern and they're next on my "small project" list after I finish my spiral fringe scarf. It looks like you made the sock "body" a little higher? What other modifications did you make?

I'm so glad you like them! i just carried on the sock body til it looked about the right length - no other modifications. it took a moment's thought to figure out where to break off and rejoin the yarn to carry the stripes over the heel shaping. but it's really not a huge challenge.
