Cloud cover

The English summer, it has been said, consists of two fine days and a thunderstorm. The glowering gloom of the last few days has made bad my promise of pictures of Claude - the evenings are so dark it has been impossible to take a reasonable photograph.
Or, put another way, the rain has caused a raincheck. I checked, and yes, still raining.

Hi there, your new design looks wonderful! I find it especially interesting because I'm pregnant, and it looks like it might work for a pregnant woman, don't you think?

Pretty! It looks very elegant. The lady too.

What a creative design. I love the "classic" look. I can't wait to buy this pattern. Thanks so much for sharing.

Oh ... this might actually fit over my not-pregnant but sizable belly. Love those A-lines. I can't wait ...

I can't wait to see the pics! As much as I'd love to wish away the rain for another day, we need it over here in the U.S. Its hot enough to fry an egg on the sidewalk. :)

You are such a fantastic artist - I cannot wait to see Claude in all its knitted glory. Please please please publish the pattern - I love your designs (oh, and we had 3 floods in the month of June here in Calgary so I know what it is like to spend all your time in rain - not so much fun).

Can't wait to see you wearing it!

That looks fab, can't wait to see if I can find a yarn sub for it and give it a go! I would even put aside my dislike of moss stitch! lol
Could you drop me an email with your address (if you want!) as I have a few dress knitting patterns that I thought might help you with your dress designing, even though they are a bit 80's and scary! If you don't want them it's fine, but I thought I'd check before I gave them to the charity shop!

Love the sketch- looking forward to seeing the photos too. Sketches I think draw out the essence though. I like sketches.

Love the sketch and can't wait to see the result.
I've also decided to tag you if you don't mind. Just post 5 of your personal idiosyncrasies for all to see!

I am so jealous that you have the time to design your own knitwear. I hope you continue; you are very good at it. // You are so right about the English summer... I lived in London one summer and that's about what I remember... two good days and one thunderstorm. At least you don't have the heat and humidity of a North American summer, however.
