Pay me no mind

Thank you for indulging me in my pouting moment, and for your kind messages. It was just a blow coming on top of an already trying, distressing day, and I do tend to emote somewhat. Of course, it's not the end of the world. I'll go on the course in the autumn, and in the meantime take my inspiration where I can find it!

Anna - you had every right to be sad! It was going to be the perfect birthday present to yourself.
I am loving all your knitting (well- not so much the bag, although the colors are ok. I sure can understand your frustration!). What size is your Tivoli?

I'd cry. And stamp. And curse. And throw a fit. That is a huge bummer!

I would have cried too. Disappointment is tough. No need to apologize for blogging about it!

Pout as much as you want, I know I would. It's always disappointing when something you are looking forward to falls through. Book the autumn one, but make sure you do something nice for yourself now as well.

It's your blog and you can pout if you want to. The class does sound amazing.
BTW, I once sat in my car and cried because I missed a pedicure appointment when I was about seven months pregnant. Sometimes you just gotta cry.

Mary makes an excellent point--if ever an occasion called for conspicuous yarn consumption, this is it!

Pout all you want, my dear and I hope you feel better.

i am also jumping on the mary bandwagon...book the autumn course and buy more yarn! both things are guaranteed pick-anna-ups! anyway, i suspect you'll be teaching them a thing or two about creative knitting ideas.

I'd cry too if the same thing happens to me. We have every right to cry, and it's not childish, it's human. Go get some yummy yarn, I bet you'll be as happy as ever again ;)

So how much chocolate did you consume after we spoke? It cures all doldrums doesn't it ;)

Posted by: Tracy at July 6, 2005 11:50 AM

Hmmm...that really stinks. I can't believe it was cancelled. I suppose the upside is more time for knitting??

If it's re-scheduled for Autumn, I'll come too!

What a bummer! Still it gives you something to look forward to when the nights start drawing in. Summer isn't the best time to do a course - far better to be sat outside with a nice cold glass of white wine and your knitting!

Everything ok this morning? I live very, very near NYC and we're on very high alert. Hope all is well with you!

Just checking in seeing if all is well with you today.
