Delicious
Have you come across Karabella Margrite? I am deeply upset that Karabella don’t seem to have a stockist in the UK, because this is sheer luxury. It’s 20 percent cashmere (80 percent merino) but feels at least as soft as the 100% cashmere sweater I spent Christmas in. Sadly, but inevitably, the quality is reflected in the price. Twelve balls was a gift to myself, a congratulation on the year’s knitting, and it is bliss to dive in after all the gift knitting and deadlines (for now).

The current plan is for a cardi in the same family as Pippa, with a twist. I’ve got a stinking cold but I tell you what, New Year’s Eve with Mr Raitte and Margrite, a movie, and quite possibly some Thai hot and sour soup sounds like just the ticket.
PS: Speaking of delicious, “Last night I dreamed I went to Manderley again…” Divine Rebecca was on the telly today. If you’ve never seen it I suggest you take steps to remedy the situation, as soon as you possibly can.

If the yarn feels as beautiful as the pattern you've knitted up looks, it will be gorgeous.
Rebecca is a great movie. I don't think I've seen it in years though, come to think of it. Darn Ted Turner and his buying up of all the old classics.
Hope your cold is better! Happy New Year.

If Thai soup and knitting don't help you feel better, I don't know what would! Happy New Year and get well soon.

Rebecca is such an excellent film. That housekeeper is such a creepy character.
I hope you kick that cold soon. Happy New Year!

This new creation looks really promising... and I look forward to seeing it in the new year. Incidentally, where do you get your Karabella yarn from?
Love Rebecca too...

That looks so pretty, can't wait to see it finished! The yarn sounds lovely too, cashmere is always such a luxurious fiber even in small percentages :)
