The shaping and the sleeves are absolutely perfect. I can imagine Mary Maceachran or Elsie (Gosford Park) sporting that cardigan!

Lovely! I have to say that at first I had real doubts about the gathered pocket- whether it would affect the drape and make the wearer look "hippy" (as in too much in the hips area!) But it just looks wonderful- and the sleeve goes perfectly. Bravo!
