By now

You will have seen that the new Magknits is up, and there is my small contribution, Argyle. Thank you Kerrie for another great issue, and for giving me the nudge I needed to work this one up as a pattern. I don't know about anyone else, but I find it's the really simple ones I wear most often.

The red was horrible to photograph, and I had only a small window of opportunity. If there's much call, I could try and persuade Mr Raitte (now returned) to take some more.

That looks like a great pattern! Classic! It takes me so long to knit a sweater that I don't want anything that's going to go out of style. This looks like it would be a good introduction to argyle. Do you think so?

I DID see the Argyle sweater--it's lovely!

I'm loving the sweater. I just added it to my list of must-haves. Even though I'll make it this summer I probably won't get to wear it until the fall.

I would *love* to see more pictures. I am debating knitting it, and more pictures would definitely help. Thank you!

Absolutely stunning sweater! The simpleness is so beautiful.

Dear Anna, you are like a knitting machine! Only friendlier. And prettier. And I imagine, a bit more lively. ;-)

The argyle is brilliant! I love the new twist on a classic design.

Beautiful sweater (isn't that just a horrible Canadian word - SWEAT-er?). Anna, do you knit whilst you sleep? Beautiful work, lovely picture, love the blue shirt poking out the neck and bottom.

I'm considering it and would love to see more photos, too. Thanks.

I've have been reading your blog for a couple months now, and I have to let you know that you are truly amazing. You have superior skill and talent, and it's always inspiring to me. I love the argyle sweater. It's kind of like the safety pin, it's simple, but why didn't anyone think of it before? Keep up the good work!

You are such an inspiration.

Just wanted to say how much I love your Argyle sweater - it's your patterns that I keep coming back to again and again - they are so simple and elegant, while still interesting. It'll be a while before I get sufficiently through my WIP pile to have a go at it, but I'll enjoy dreaming about it for a while...

Congrats on your pattern on screen and your comments in print in Knit.1! I bought it purely for the "interviews", not the patterns (I hope that doesn't make me sound like a bloke buying "certain" mags for the articles...)

Anna... It looks LOVELY. And you are right it is the simple and classic ones I want to knit and wear :)
