If you needed a look-alike substitute
for Jaeger EFM DK, where would you turn?

OmaghiFilati Merino Kind (according to the label I'm holding) has the same look and springiness and the gauge seems to be right. Good luck!

Sublime Extrafine Merino Wool DK might do you...

Classic Elite Wool Bamboo. I just swatched some Jaeger EFM last night and they look very similar.

Um, my stash? I went a little crazy with the jaeger when it on sale last year. though i mostly have the chunky stuff.
Which doesn't answer your question. Have you seen Zara by Filatura di Crosa? It's got the multiple plies and is very soft and bouncy. Machine washable unlike the Jaeger.

I think Debbie Bliss Rialto is a dead ringer. The twist isn't as set, but overall I think it is very similar.

I love Sublime yarns. I do think they have a EF Merino DK that might work. Very smooth. Made the HEB a sweater out of the cashmere dk.
Hope you all are well!

I agree with ALEXANDRA, I think Zara is your best bet.

Just read your Feb 1st post, just wondering if you've thought of allergies? My youngest was having the hardest time, and he ended up being allergic to dairy, eggs and peanuts. If you have any questions...

Z was in with the pediatric gastroenterologist (crap, I can't even spell that anymore) more times than I can count. Don't even mention the middle of the night trips to Childrens' Hospital ER.
One day we woke up and realised, "wow, that hasn't been a problem for a while now". They never figured it out and it just disappeared.
Happy to chat if you need to commisserate.
