Answers to some frequently asked questions

Taxes and import duties are the responsibility of the buyer. We export each knit with a commercial value of GBP£100.

We do not sell patterns for our current collection, but some of Anna’s previous designs are available via (search designer Anna Bell).

British pounds stirling. All prices are in GBP.

Payment is through Paypal – we can supply bank details if you prefer to make a BACS transfer but we do not accept cheques, cash, nor do we have facilities for any other type of credit card payment.

Once your item has been shipped a tracking number will be sent to your email address and your knit should arrive within seven to ten days.

We offer a made-to-order service; each piece takes up to four weeks to be completed and full payment is required before we begin work. Shipping can a further ten days.

Air after wearing and spot clean with a damp cloth.

Only if necessary, wash by hand in lukewarm water with an appropriate detergent for wool/delicates, taking care not to wring or agitate the fabric as this can cause wool fibres to shrink and felt.

Do NOT tumble dry or iron. Reshape while damp and lay flat to dry.

Your garment will keep its shape best if stored folded, not on a hanger. If not in regular use, store in a cotton bag with mothballs to protect from damage.

On the inside of the garment you may find small knots where the yarns are knotted together – this is not a flaw. If they emerge on the ‘right’ side, gently push them back through the knitted fabric using something blunt like a pencil.

Some yarns we use may shed slightly. As with all knitted natural fibres, the fabric may pill as a result of friction from wear, this is not a flaw. Pills can be picked off by hand, or very carefully trimmed with a small pair of scissors.
